We are delighted you are visiting our home page and thank you for your interest in our company. Protecting your personal data is something we take very seriously and we want to ensure you feel secure and at ease when visiting our website. That is why we comply with the applicable legal provisions for protecting personal data and for data security. We want to boost confidence in our services and so we openly disclose our approach to handling personal data.
Handling personal data
Personal data involves any information about personal or material circumstances for a particular person or an identifiable individual. We only collect, handle or use personal data from you, if you use the WM GROUP GmbH internet service offering (e.g. contact form) and specify data required for processing your request. This means that you are in a position to decide for yourself what data you transmit to us. In addition, you are aware of the content and extent of your personal data.
If you would like to receive our newsletter (LB Plus), we require a valid email address from you along with information which enables us to verify that you are the owner of the specified email address or that its owner has agreed to receive the newsletter. No other data is collected. This data is only used for sending out the newsletter and is not passed on to third parties. You can revoke your permission to store the data, the email address or its use for sending the newsletter at any time. This cancellation can be done via a link in the newsletters themselves, in the registration area or by submitting a message using our contact form.

As a matter of principle you can access our web pages without providing any personal details. We use “cookies” on our websites to obtain information about your browsing behaviour. For each internet file request the following access data is stored:
- the IP address of the requesting computer,
- the description of the web browser being used or the operating system used,
- the name of the requested file,
- the page from which the file request was made,
- the date and time of the request,
- the volume of data transferred,
- the access status (file transferred, file not found etc.)
This saved data is used exclusively for technical or statistical purposes; to identify trends, to generate statistics and to improve our online offering. This usage data is not linked with personal data and is deleted after a maximum period of 1 month.
Privacy statement for using Piwik
Our website uses the Piwik analysis application. This is open source software for the statistical analysis of online access. Piwik uses so-called “cookies”, text files which are stored on your computer and which enable analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookies about your use of our internet service is stored on our server. The IP address is anonymised immediately after processing and before storage. You can adjust your browser settings to prevent the installation of cookies, however, if you do this, we should point out that you may not be able to benefit from the full functionality of this website. To disable this functionality completely, please scroll to the end of this page and uncheck the box for collecting your data for analysis.
